As part of Goodyear's celebration of the 100th anniversary of its iconic blimps, the company's Wingfoot One, wearing a retro color scheme, visited Ģý's Aeronautics & Engineering Expo on Sept. 6.
The annual expo offers an opportunity to view unique visiting aircraft and learn about the airport and learn about the programs offered by Ģý's College of Aeronautics and Engineering.
100 years ago, Goodyear's first blimp was christened on the field where the Ģý Airport now stands.
Special thanks to Michael Gershe, senior advisor II in Ģý's College of Aeronautics and Engineering for capturing these spectacular photos!
