Copy Styles
Text styling should stay consistent across your site.
Each style below demonstrates itself. Unless noted, you apply a style by highlighting your text and choosing the style from the Styles dropdown in the editor.
Introduction Sentence
Keep the first sentence of a page short and apply the Introduction style to it. It renders large, like the first sentence of this page.
Headlines and Subheads
Subheads break a page into sections and give the layout breathing room. They are also required for accessibility, so use heading levels in order: Headline 2 for main sections, Headline 3 inside those and so on.
Headline 2 - National Bold 37/52
Headline 2 - Large Subhead Style
Headline 3 - National Bold 27/35
Headline 4 - National Bold 20/30
Headline 5 - National Bold 18/25
Basic Copy/Text
Paragraph text is the main content style: Roboto Slab 300 16/27. Linked text renders bold and blue, while bolded text renders bold and black.
Pull Quote
The Pull Quote style lifts a line out of your copy for emphasis and it can carry italics and bolds.
Generic Blockquote
Use a standard blockquote when quoting a person or another source. Apply it with the block quote button in the editor toolbar. It also carries italics and bolds.
Bulleted Lists
Use the editor's list buttons for bulleted or numbered lists. Keep items short and parallel.
